I'm homeschooled, as some of you may know, and in my schedule book, there's a clear plastic circle on the front cover, so you can write your name beneath it on the paper. I take it it's meant to be used for a big public school or something? Anyways, being the Geek that I am, I didn't want to put my name on it…

Public school: Kindergarten, 1st & 2nd grades.

Christian school: 3rd

Home school: 4th - 9th. Next year will make 10th

My mom took my sister and I out of public school after she heard about so many shootings, etc., and put us in Christian school. Our Christian school teacher was… Let's just say "not cut out to be a teacher" :rolleyes:

She started home schooling because she didn't like the Christian school, and she felt public school was too unsafe/ungodly. I guess you could say it was a last resort, but it wasn't like that. Home school seemed like the best option at the time.

Not at all. It's very nice :)

Only bad thing is… My mom babysits in our home. There's kids in our house all day long, from about 6:30 in the morning to about 6:30 at night. It gets really old :rolleyes:

Do you not think your missing out on the social side to public schools though?

I think missing out on the social side to public school is a small price to pay to get away from all the other crap that goes on there :)

Nah man, I was home schooled till i was 11 and had like 20 friends. Still hang out with a few of em today.
