Well i am kinda new to this SRL forum. I had couple of questions on the scripts.

I downloaded the SRL files and inside the core folder there is a file called AutoTalk. I am guessing this is the file where all the text is for random chatting and stuff.

Am i suppose to edit this file? If so which parts of the scripts are used. I mean how do i know when the text i am editing is the text that will appear where. I mean at which location and which event will the script randomly chat this text?

For example in the Auto Talk file there a part called if(ActionType='Mining')then. Obiviouly this will be used when mining. Does thie mean it will use this chat thing when mining or like walking to the mining place etc?

Another part is the procedure RandomChat;. When will this be used? WIll be used at the mining spot or while walking to the bank or while walking from the bank to the mining spot?

Now what is the procedure TextDataBase; and procedure EnglishWords; for? When will these be used?

I think it the ActionType='Mining' makes it talk only about mining.
RandomChat is everything.
These are all different procedures that you can put in your script, and make them talk when you want them to.
There are different languages in there.

How do I know which type of Auto Talk procedure these scrpts are using

srl is an include, an include is a file that ad's on to scar. So bassicly scar just has like a million more functions and procedures with srl included.

When you write a script in scar and want to use the srl procedures and functions, an example for you situation could be "randomchat;" know to call upon that procedure we will firstly need to state that we want srl as our include, we can do with by simply typing….

program new;
{.include SRL/SRL.scar}
begin
end.

The will include all the "core" functions in the srl folder. You will know we able to call upon them but just before you do you nust remember that you need to setupsrl, do this by in the start of your main lopp just type setupsrl;

program new;
{.include SRL/SRL.scar}
begin
setupSRL;
end.

now srl is setup when you run the script and it will automtaicly load all the mouse movements speeds ect ect. You should be able to call upon the procedures and fubnctions that you mentioned earlier now…

program new;
{.include SRL/SRL.scar}

procedure test;
begin
randomchat;
end;

begin
setupSRL;
end.

o ya before i forgot when you include srl you only include the main core files, if you want to include the others you must manually state them….example….

{.include SRL/SRL/skill/Mining.scar}
