WTF are they saying, arthas is not the lich king, or at least he wasn't in WC3. That frosty skeleton dude was, but maybe Arthas took over?

Arthas became the lich king… I don't remember how, you could find it in the lore. My friend is like the WoW lore master, I guess I can ask him.

What I do know is that Arthas was obsessed with trying to destroy the lich king to save his people from the plague, a little too obsessed. He would do anything to try and take down the lich king. In an attempt to become strong enough to kill him, he picked up a cursed sword, Frostmourne. Dunno what happened after that… but he somehow became the lich king :).

LoL WoW is still growing so they will keep updating / releasing new expensions untill people quit playing which might take a while.

Blizzard is also working on a new MMORPG like most of you already know… i wonder how good that one is going to be :D

Let's just hope all you pay for is the disk.

Arthas is the lich king if blizzard was smart and go after their own story Arthas should be so strong that noone can defeat him… it really SUCKS that he is gonna be a raid, and can be killed… That shouldnt be possible.. Blizzard is such a lame ass thing now… and the game sucks now… its just farmfarmfarmfarmfarmgrindgrindgrindgrind… :bart:

Thats not true! Join a new realm and compete against the vast legit players to get the highest first and make the most renowned guild in the realm..It's all good! (Talking about when wrath of the lich king comes out)

I think that's going to bring Northrend to WoW because there's Frostmourne in the pic too and wintery stuff :)

It says in the trailer thing that the patch is implementing Northrend into the game.

It's just a fancy way of saying " hey look heres some new area, we havnt improved anything, heres a new shitty class, and oh your level 80 now, go have a wet dream and die " =\ </3 WoW and this is just another way for them to make even more money, there milking the idea for every penny they have, I dont think its worth it.

I know most people hate it who can't afford it, but I've played, and after the first few lvls it sux horribly. U take FOREVEr to lvl up. Its just plain dumb, to have a game cost that much…eh..

Go Raid some big instance with your guild and you will understand why many people love it.

I was playing the "old wow" for like 6 months. I was pretty angry, when they said that the BC will mix up the classes of each side. I had a little break, and then I started playing the BC. It was ok for a month or so, leveling the new 10 levels and getting money for the flying mount, but then again it was the same old wow with some (imo crappy) new shining instances etc. Many people think that BC raped the wow, and I didn't agree at the beginning, but after a month or two I was starting to agree with that. I think that the Wrath of the Lich King will just cause more people to quit.

Lich king is Kel Thuzad, not Arthas. Arthas is the Prince/Human and later on the Death Knight.

is that new wow in stores yet?

Check the date of when they say it's going to be released.

And even if they have jsut released it, it probably won't come into stores near us for a while…(about 1-5 days).
