I decided to post this in the members forum so it wouldn't be leeched to hell by nooblets.

What do you do to make money?

Specifically:
-What scripts do you use?
-How many characters do you use?
-Does it work well?

I'm asking this because I am having alot of difficulty in generating more than 400k alltogether.. in fact I've only ever had over 400k once.

It must be a method that you can use on F2P.

LOl, just massrape the essence. If you have good comp you can have vms.

Or use scripts like goblin scheduler and lame and then sell the lvl 81 accounts to noobs at your school.

I find guild miners to be a good source of gp. Even though I dont play legit, and I mainly auto for the xp. If youre looking for a good mining script, I suggest my VWM - Link in my sig :p

For money making VEM, but switching to ess now as a good friend wtb 20k ess.
- How many characters do you use?
For money making I have three characters.
I started with only two, they were mining 31 and 38, after 4k iron, 1k copper and tin and a a bit of ess they're now mining 55
My third char is now mining 45.
When mining ess they all have rune picks, when mining iron I give em addys.
- Does it work well?
I don't auto that much, but it makes around 30k an hour.

Well, before it broke. I used Summillions Rimmington Miner (SRM). I have 10 people in my army. I started the script at 7 PM or so, and let it run until Noon the next day, or longer. Most of the time I would have 3k iron ores, which sells for 300k, I guess. They sell 100 each. I am thinking of switching to VEM though, because
1: SRM is broken, Sum is away.
2: I'm too lazy to fix SRM myself.
3: VEM is a shorter walk.
4: I can own the noobs at VEM with my 50 mining on 10 guys :)

If you can run 2 VmWares, you'll be able to run 3 accs on ess miner, and that makes about 20 - 25k / h cash, that means you would make 750k cash in one 10h overnight, and if you would do that for week, that would make aproxx. 5,25m, and for one account, you would make umm… 250k in overnight (10h) and in week that would do 1,75m. ;)


So if you go for cash, I'd suggest essmining, stable, and profitable, Ironminers allways have small bugs in walking.

Ya, except your smither doesnt work anymore, the parts where it waits for a color to show up somewhere messes it up. The coords got changed. Fix it nub!

@Hy[Random #'s] - I might buy that when my guys get up to 65 or so WC. Might be a while cause they are only 20 right now, but.. oh well. PM me some details about it sometime, as in soon :p

Seems everyone is in love with VEM :p lol. The problem with that is although its a great script, often its really packed, whereas the varrock west mine (advertising) usually isnt. ;) (check my sig)

Hey, Claw, your right, maybe I will test out VWM! It doesnt have the roll-off-your-tounge-smoothness of VEM, but I'm sure its still good :)

Well… I dont mean to advertise my script, but I use my Rimmington Soft Clay Farmer. The link to it is in my sig. So far, since I started working on it, which i think was about 20-25 days ago, i've made about 7 mil. This is by only running it over night every night (Except towards the begining, when it did not run overnight). I use 7 players and it works just fine.

It's also nice because it's easy to breed an army, just get their combat lvls up and begin autoing with bronze picks, it's not that much slower. Then upgrade to steel picks when you can, clay is easy to get so there's no need to risk rune picks.

i also use vem have 5 lvl 65+ mining leets that rap the mining and 4 more that are training on copper and tin
