Hey guys! Not a clue how many of you will remember me, I was a strong member about 9 months ago, but quit because I'm doing GCSE's and couldn't put in the time.

So anyway, someone fill me in!

What happened to web walker?
What the hell's cherroke?
Anything else major happened?
Any new kickass snippits or new bits of code?

Just anything that I've missed really! Thanks dudes, and I'll be releasing some more stuff soon as soon as I'm up to date :f:

Nothing else big really happened that I can remember though… I don't know how WebWalker has been doing, I think Boreas stopped working on it; If you were around when KYAB was here (a java bot that relied on SRL/SCAR to make perfect walking and great object finding) we have separated into 2 forums. It's definitely for the better…

I hit 2k posts, released an all tree chopper for varrock and got a tutorial writers cup; I also got framed by someone you may know, he is MOB. He made a new account and framed me for leaking SRL members scripts, but wizzy completely owned him.

SRL is going to be SVL or something so we can get updates much faster and it will be much easier for Fakawi and everyone.

RAM_RUNE became a moderator (well deserved) and a new thing called noob points has been made.

Sweet, welcome back mouse. I was only around for about a month when you left. I remember you made a mouse function though.

1.WebWalker kinda got lost off but I think that Boreas is going to do it or a law runner after he finishes B4

2. I don't know where cherokee went but it should be somewhere around here.

3.KYAB came out, which is a Java bot. You can apply here

So… No amasingly l33tish new functions? New object finding, or a finally working MM angle detector?:p

Yes, there's a couple of those but they were 'to good for SRL's own good' and have been moved to Www.KYAB.AssSoft.Org …

What you mean what happened? MOB got owned, haven't talked to him since, me and wizzy are still cool (from what I know). I thought that had all been said in the thread :p

Anyways, a few people made rune mysteries questers! That's a new big thing too :p also a snippets section has been added for non members. I'm not sure, but was Boreas an admin before you left?

It's not a secret elite forum or anything, every one is supposed to know about it even the public, unfortunately some of the people here have been closed minded about it which is primarily why it was moved off these forums.

I don't think he was. Boreas is an admin just so you know.

It was moved off these forums because it was made in Java… Which made the front page quote from fakawi a lie. And other reasons too..

And it's not supposed to be known to the public. SRL members + are supposed to be the only ones to know about this group.

There is a thread about it in the Public section, that and everyone has been told and given permission to tell people, and KYAB didn't make it a lie, it just made it a stubborn statement which was refused to oh so dangerous thought of change.

Maybe you should just go to KYAB and stay their? "All the developers here and all the reasonable SRL members have stayed away from KYAB, and the members that haven't have been keeping quiet about it." You may not care about these forums and may call me a suck up to the admins/devs/mods, but if you don't agree with the people who run this forum, maybe you should just stay quiet about it and try not to cause trouble, or leave.

Not trying to be rude, but I don't see any point in trying to bring KYAB back to this forum again, or start any discussion about it..

How hard is it to impliment? Just an include or does it need script mods?

I would say that's more than half the 'population' of SRL members and higher ranked….

again, I'm stating facts not opinions.

I believe mastaraymond made a Cherokee-ready SRL (CSRL); I've never used any of this much, so I don't know exactly what it'd take to run a script in cherokee.

Well, actually it is, but you can't minimize.
Once you've installed CSRL, redirect the includes to the cherokee versions, and replace stuff like GetMousePos with CherokeeGetMousepos and stuff.

Hmmmmm…….. Sounds like alot of work to get the tut island running with it :p

And the reason I can't see that list is because I'm not registered, and I don't plan on registering. If Yakman (using him as an example because I know he doesn't like KYAB..) registered on those forums it doesn't mean he agrees with KYAB and likes it. It just means he registered. (possibly to see the members list?)

I wasn't trying to start something about KYAB but I did not agree at all with IceFire's post and thought something should be said so mouse could see both sides of it… Not just the opinion of someone who agrees with KYAB.

Oooooooooh!!!!!! You so deserved it! I remember all your work on stuff :)

Its a shame people never carried on with WebWalker, through the new music-location detection, and basic symbol work within that area, location detection is a piece of cake, then its just the paths you need to work on, which is just effort, but nothing undoable :)
