Ok. So something is wrong with my understanding…
maybe either:
-how delphi inputs to mouse…
-how these functions take in the variables.
-how global x and y work in these functions.
Could someone explain how moving and clicking the mouse work together and sperately… I tend to have Mouse and CMouse problems… the mouse goes nuts and wiggles back and forth on the one spot violently.
Also… does nesting a function within an "If" statement change how the variables are output.?
This just clicks a steel bar to use on the anvil in my smither.
edit:
There was a sample of a scripting problem attached to this… but I fixed the piece of script that was troubling me… posting it here helped me see the problem. If anyone can comment on this little bit of script or tell me about traps-for-young-players in mouse stuff, that would be cool

If (not(GetCurrentTab=4)) Then
GameTab(4);
wait(500+random(500));
FindBitmapSpiralTolerance(SteelBar,x,y,MIX1,MIY1,MIX2,MIY2,10);
CMouse(x,y,2,2,True); <-- is this a ban safe use of CMouse?
wait(500+random(500));
