Hello,

I am proud to present a scar movie : "2 cheaters". If you guys like it, maybe i will make another one:p. uhgm, this is actually my first script i EVER post :rolleyes:. I hope you like it, btw its whole based on canvasses ;). No bitmaps or whatever! Please post something to give me a feeling i didn't waste my time for nothing :D.

EDIT: If you want to speed up the 'intro'. change line 190 to wait(10); Look to the end :D. See my beautiful Canvas drawing art ^^.

Well speed it up then XD. Change line 190 to wait(10); ! XD

Hmm, I don't know, longer than it took me to make my plugin :p. I was too bored! XD. In first place i only wanted to make some special effects :D. But then i thought, why not add some text? Also i show the possibilities of Canvas really clear in this one… i think :rolleyes:.

Im not a story writer, i am a scripter ;). As i mentioned before, i just wanted to do something cool with canvasses ;). Next time i will ask a story writer for a story;).

Ill make another one, after i finish my own encryption system:rolleyes:. I need some ideas for special effects :D and a good story:rolleyes:. Im planning to make something like a 'drawmen' database. Like : DrawManWithCape(x,y), DrawManLeftArmLow(x,y)…… Then we could get really funny stuff ^^. *cough* I'm the worst guy in my class with art\drawing ( Dont know how its called^^). *cough*

Also i see that canvas is almost NEVER used. I got some wonderful canvas scripts, for my secret project ^^. Really cool ones ;).

Yep :D. Actually not even with scar, but just by coding ;). Im thinking of some special effects i can make with debug canvas, anyone? :^^

Dissolve effects would be pretty sweet

And something for teleportation, too…like the person materializes from the ground up/dissolves from the top down (for in/out)

Im going on vacanse in like 2 weeks, there i have no Internet, but i do have a laptop. I think i could make some movies there! Especially since i have paint now, makes it 20 times easier!

Lol, this is good :)

Wow!!! Very nicely done! It's good, considering that SCAR sucks for making movies. However, here's some criticism for the next movie :D :

Try not to use vectorgraphics/drawing functions, because it creates a flickering effect because it's too SLOW (use copy/paste a bitmap/canvas). Damn SCAR for it, but it's like that.

Also, the text was really long. Just make it a bit faster in the next version.

And last but not least: Try using some ThreadSafeCall() functions, because else SCAR may crash because of buffer overruns. Some canvas functions aren't safe.

In all, I must say, A VERY VERY good movie, considering SCAR's lack of canvas drawing functions. Nice effects with the scrolling text. Also, the placing of the "actors" was perfect!

it's the only problem…otherwise it's nice…zzz… and i thought how the f**k is it possible to make with scar…

The text was way too slow and seems too long, but still very neat, and the stick people were pretty funny.

Ide like to see what it would look like if you pur a little more work into the people and animation though :p
