I have put together a site that can dynamically create a signature based
on the database.

Too many sits ups (currently unavaliable) has listed the noob criteria.

Those are the possible violations. Each one needs to be assigned a specific number of noob points to go along with it. (1-10) Read This tutorial and help me decide.

got a qwestion 4 ya.
should i add on a way to track where the offence occured? like, a place to store the link of the thread?

pros

1. Provides real evidence to viloation
2. Makes it look more legit, and not random people throwing tangents
3. allows admins to re evaluate noobs

cons

1. take more time to fill out form,
2. takes more space to store the information
3. take more time for me to code it all
4. may give rise to complaints about noob points.
5. may make noob points too humiliating (if, once they are not a noob, people can still easily locate their stupid posts)

I think the three most serious are complaining/demanding, arrogant new member, and not searching. I think these should be three noob points.

I think a bad member app, leeching, and immaturity/flaming for no reason are the second most serious and, therefore, should be awarded two points a pop.

The rest can probably all go with one point each, as they are very common and most likely are honest mistakes.

yeah… no offence to here, but this is all my work. I didnt have the noob points idea, but the php database and the sigs and stuff. Yeah.

I just dont want all the hours i spent on this to look like it wasnt me. This is my second php script, and i am beging to become proud of it
(there are still lots of changes that need to be made, like getting here to stop droping my tables…)

I'm working on a SCAR/Java script to report people whichever is easier. Just have to learn some javascript…

How do you report people? I have a lot of people that keep complaining and they should get some points but when I go to the site to put in the name I don't know what to put for the password…

yes it would, no problem at all. except for one


i would need to accept those values through a GET method, like

smartzStyleSig.php?r=255&b=100&g=10

but the thing is… if you put a url like that into the image tags… it doesnt make it an image.. it makes it into a link instead.

that is why i have had to make a diferent php page for every sig, all they do is call the main sig generator.
