I think Jagex has web spiders that go on SRL Forums. I have LOTS of reasons to beleave that..

1. My free hostia that hosted the VYC was erased by Jagex (the only links were located at this forum !!! )
2. Over 30 guests signed on at any current time ( non registerd users )
3. They fixed a glitch I had noticed in the clinet http://www.villavu.com/forum/showthread.php?t=12677?p=147270#post147270
(no one ever posted on the forums at rs about it)
4. and lots more!!!

What should we do about this? It is a big problem in my opinion.

Jagex has always known about this site and always had many people here but their seems to have been a big increase lately, not necessarily Jagex but people are here.

err what can we do about it? lol. Live with it. we're doing fine. we have to occasionally update SRL but that's it. they can't shut us down cos we're a colour "bot". there's nothing else we can do……

That glitch isnt a actually glitch but the lagging or mis loading of the java applet. That sometimes happens to me all I do is reload the world. There really isnt anything we could do. We could block UK IPs but I believe alot of scripters here are from the UK so we can't do like sythe does.

Well all I can think of is jsut tighten up on security with members sections and keep vital stuff to ourselves and maybe even obfusicate the distributed version of SRL and a special thread for member SRL that isnt so we can use the code to make new functions off old ones and stuff.

but if the code is obfuzzled the leechers will have a bigger problem, like with the bank plxle thing..

+ no one could learn from it anymore ergo rendering the most important part of srl useless, obfuscating srl is not an option!

I agree, all code needs to stay open and availaible to use and learn from. It gernates a great atmosphere. And im not to woried about jagex finding out our "secrets".
lol, they will get into memebers and be like

"CRAP! All they do is clikc on color! Even when we change them all the time! zomg we are fed…if we change the colors so scar cant use them, then even humans cant use them!…(lets go destroy rs demon)"

So yeah, they worst they can do is give our srl devs a bit more of a chalenge, and most of them wouldnt mind :)

we could make guests not allowed to view scripts of srl and make the registration have a legally binding contract in it that says there not related to jagex and if they lie we could sue them for 800000000000000000000000000000 gp and get every vote in freminniks trial

What the kid said above me. I know a WoW private server that said if any one from Blizzard co. or this other company views the website then they have right to fine. And its a real website!

Its obvious jagex is here and knows about us -.-
Theve known about scar for years. If they could stop us for good they would have by now. Its not much of a big deal, everyone already knows =).

We'll the reason SRL site aint down yet is because we aren't selling gold etc. here.

i think we need to make srl forums in general members only unless jagex has infiltrated that far into the forums
