Did you do anything specific, or did you just log in one day and notice it wasn't banned anymore?

I had the same happen to me. I had been letting Obscurity bot with my account and it had gotten banned (I hadn't told him it had already gotten a temp ban). Short story is: Since the IP of the ban didn't match my IP I usually used for the account they unbanned it.

There is a link you can go to on the RS3 website and appeal bans for anything besides:

• Account hijacking
• Bug abuse
• Real world trading
• Other manual permanent ban (fraud, community safety)

This means you can appeal if your account was banned for macroing.

I would only recommend appealing if your ban was a while ago. I had success with an account that was banned in 2014 for 2 macroing violations. I also had an appeal denied for an account banned in 2017 (account is 16 years old as well).
