HoldMouse

Question is, do I need to add a HoldMouse procedure into SMART? I didn't consider scrolling in bank or chat since I don't auto. I guess its a given that it will be needed, now about how to implement it:

SmartHoldMouse(x, y, mills: integer; left: boolean);
Like the SendKey(code, mills: integer);

Or a pair of hold/release and just go ahead and do the same for keys? Feedback :)

SmartHoldMouse(x, y, mills: integer; left: boolean);

i love the idea seems to save me a little bit of codding each time.

I'm pretty sure he ment that he could do this:
SmartHoldMouse(543,324,1000,true);
Instead of this:
MMouse(543,324);
HoldMouse(543,324,true);
Wait(1000);
ReleaseMouse(543,324,true);
However, i can see how someone would take that the wrong way ;)

Wait…if you did that, would we be able to drag things?

Yes, for the length of mills.

We need the hold mouse to scroll the chat because SRL seems to scroll for no reason now when you login.
Also the bank and certain antiban features also scroll.
Its needed.

LOL

Don't add time!
Hahaha.
What about moving an item with different speed?

Like this pl0x:

procedure HoldMouse(x, y: Integer; Left: Boolean);
Holds mouse button. Set parameter Left to true for left button, false for right.

procedure ReleaseMouse(x, y: Integer; Left: Boolean);
Releases mouse button. Set parameter Left to true for left button, false for right.

well they have: SmartDragMouse

but some people may get confused because we are use to using holdmouse.

ya but what happens if we want to hald the mouse for a little bit then drag it?

I'm not sure i'm understanding what you're trying to say on the first part, dragging is a seperate method. And really every time you hold the mouse besides dragging is for a set ammount of time anyway. or you can hold again if you need to.

The problem is, what will you use when you want to hold the mouse, move it for a unknown amount of time, and then release it?

Nothing at the moment, but why would you need to do that? If you want to hold and move, use SmartDragMouse…

ya but maybe we might need it to hold the mouse down first… then drag… the wait then release.

Ok, let me restate. That is exactly what SmartDragMouse does. Unless you are saying you want to modify the wait times… Then I would wonder why. Its not that I'm adverse to adding new things, its just that I don't want to add in insecure features if it can be avoided.

what if you want to drag the mouse to a a pos and not release the mouse and move it to a new pos.

-.- Ok, fine, I'll add it in when I get back from vacation (leaving next week). But really, why would you ever do that or are you just making something up in order to get it added?

Edit: To clarify, SmartDragMouse holds the mouse, moves it to the end position, and releases it. SmartHoldMouse has nothing to do with dragging (at the moment, and really shouldn't ever)

hmm i honestly dont know which one is the best… like you said i cannopt think of any situation where i need to hold the mouse and move it to multiple places and then release….

and sense you said hold mouse should not be used to with drag…

idk whichever seems simpler and better to you ben.

At any rate, I can see that people would rather just directly substitute the methods, so I will add them in when I get a chance. Next week we're going to the beach, and two weeks after that I'll be busy for the better part of the day (9-4) then I only have one week of summer left… Yikes…
