I think that you aren't going to get as many bids with a stock photo, usually more people bid if they see the real thing.

1) Where'd you get that big a fan (360mm)?
2) It would be alot nicer with a 2.4 ghz proc

I was thinking of making my skill of building comps into a business as well, but I looked at specs and prices on eBay and it just wasn't worth it. I would havel ost my money mostly..

Its seems like a good computer, although I already have a dual core 1.8ghz, I don't really like it because of the bus speed (1066mhz ftw). If it would have had the 2.4ghz dual core and a larger video card i might have put a bid on it.

I was gonna post original pics of it sitting here, but I don't have a camera. I took some pics with my camcorder but they were soooo bad… :(

Yes, the 2.4Ghz is better, but then it wouldn't be a "budget" rig, would it? :)

Oh and the fan came with the case, which is an Xclio 6030 plus.

I know, I love this chair too! It's like sitting on a one person sofa :), so I'm definitely dragging it off to college with me this fall, I don't care how many trips it takes :D

I don't get how to mount extra fans inside a case.

I bought a nice one and can't figure out a place to hook it up/screw it in

What case do you have? Let me use mine for an example…


See the 2 hexagon-shaped things in the back labeled rear vent? That's where you would put 2 80mm fans. If your case has holes like those anywhere then screw the fan there. If the holes are bigger then use a 120mm fan…

I'm going to buy a new com next year, my current is good enough for now, 1 Gb ram, 2,4 Ghz CPU and a nVidia 6600 GT.
