Notepad++!!
Does anyone here use it?
Its an awesome scripting utility that overs every language, even pascal.
That means SCAR scripts :)

It has wicked features such as collapsible procedures which makes working with long scripts ALOT easier.

And it includes a list of all your procedures so you can jump to ones you need.
(This is useful for me because I use many small procedures instead of long ones!)

It marks where your begin and ends to make sure they are used in equal amounts and it fixes standards.

Check out this screenie.

I use it for ages!
Not for scripting, but for PHP. But I switched to Zend recently, even better for PHP.
I used np++ to crack Nielsies tutrunner, love the sidebar with all procedures.

Wow, it looks very impressive, but why bother?

If i'm coding in C++ I need ,msvc++ to compile anyway, and that does syntax highlighting for me already.

Same with java, except i don't use msvc++ obviously.

For scar you need scar for the interpreter anyway, so why do you use notepad++

Yea, good point… It's useful, but I can't include SRL stuff :(

I still do the majority of coding in SCAR.
But when I just need to be able to jump to procedures in a rather large script or collapse them when I need to focus on something specific, i use Notepad++.
Its your own personal preference really.

What if you really want to see if theres a certain SRL procedure? Do you just open up SCAR?
