SRL Archive - Discussions and Debates

So what is the plan here. Are SRL versions going to be released to the general public at the same time is available here? Are we free to talk about whats going on? Should we try to keep our scripts here only? Do we discuss the community on other sites? Kind of simple questions but i just want some clarification.

SRL is always released here first. I can't answer the rest :/ but I'd try and keep a low profile.. We don't want to be seen as a threat to jagex until it's too late *evil laugh*

I think we should maybe release SRL here a week or so before, so everything is tested well and we arent releasing a flawed version (Keep the forums rep up:))

Well because we release so many versions and get right onto the bug-fixing, every version is a definate improvement on the last and most of our procedures are rock-solid. I don't think we have too much to worry about that we aren't already planning for (i.e. continuous colour-changing without loading a new map).. The worst thing they could do to us without making runescape look stupid (flashing colours) is already solved with tolerance.. People who make scripts usually take a few colour samples and do tolerance for each of them.. Well, at least I do.

SRL will be availble for Download Here as Always first, and MoparisTheBest's forums will also host it in the near future. After talking to Fawki we don't mind other community's hosting SRL but it is best to get it from a offical site such as Here or Mopar's.

You are free to do what you wish with your scripts as they are your own creations, I personally perfer my scripts to stay here as i don't want everybody in the world using them to keep them less detectable.

I belive you may discuss this community on other sites as long as you don't leak information or scar coding that are posted in our New Functions or Test Functions forums, or as the rule of thumb goes Only Post What You Create.
