CSRL - Cherokee SCAR Resource Library, Updated with 3.81 SRL

First of all, if i am not allowed to post things like this just remove the tread.

If you don't know what Cherokee is check: http://www.villavu.com/forum/showthread.php?t=9540?t=10752&highlight=cherokee

CSRL is a 'modded' version of SRL. I have made SRL compatible with Cherokee. With this version of SRL you can run a SRL script using Cherokee. There might be some with hold- & releasemouse procedures, but i think it should work oké.
If you just change the include & the setupsrl procedure (see below) it should work without any errors. Personally i use this on my VMware, just change the desktop resolution to something high and then open a normal Runescape and a Cherokee window!

This is SRL version 3.8 so its updated i think. I also added my working Cherokee directory to the rar file. Just unpack this in your scar directory and it should work!

To use the include change the empty script template to:
program New;
{.include Cherokee/SRL.scar}

Const
ID = 'test';

begin
SetupSRL(ID);
end.
Credits:
Markus for the name CSRL and being my chat partner:rolleyes:.
The SRL team for making SRL ofcourse;).
Yakman, Regexs and Moparisthebest for making Cherokee!

Don't mind my bad English please :p

~Raymond

EDIT Some more info:
Just use the script like you use it with SRL, only replace the .include srlsrl.scar with Cherokeesrl.scar and replace Setupsrl with Setupsrl('test') and then open cherokee and run script type: /scarListen(test) then run the script and there you go .Oh and just unpack the rar file into your scar folder then the include should go into the good place

Uhm, i also recommend to remove all Activate client and FindwindowBysize out of you 'normal' srl. Because since there are 2 screens it might pick the wrong one . Use notepad++ > Ctrl + F > Find in Files > includessrl > In all sub-folders > Find them all > in the box below you see the results > Double click the line, remove activateclient > Click the next one. Do this until you removed all Activateclient & Findwindowbysize. This could also be handy if u use Kyab, since Activateclient ruins the bots. ^^

EDIT Be sure:

Be sure you delete: Activateclient, Findwindowbysize, sendarrowsilent (command like that), Clickmouse, movemouse, Getmousepos, Holdmouse, releasemouse (there are none cherokee's that fake hold- and releasemouse just replace it with CherokeeClickMouse) and something like sendkeys, all the SRL procedures are fixed!, this is just if you use basic SCAR functions! If you do not do this it will not work with 2 scars. If you want to know with what command you should replace it. Just check: ScarGateWay.scar and Test.scar in the folder CherokeeScripts. .

Yakman

well its nice to see it being used by someone
thats probably the reason no-one really used cherokee, cause you had to modify SRL yourself :p

and ill take this opportunity to post a progress report i got from it, just to prove it works

Well im using it for a week right now ;) It works perfectly, only be sometimes the script u use got his own: Mouse,Typesend or Arrow function ^^. That is what I found out after 5 days using it:'Oh shit, the script uses SendArrowSilent, that is why my normal scar rotates so much ^^'.

Just use the script like you use it with SRL, only replace the .include srl\srl.scar with Cherokee\srl.scar and replace Setupsrl with Setupsrl('test') and then open cherokee and run script type: /scarListen(test) then run the script and there you go :D Oh and just unpack the rar file into your scar folder then the include should go into the good place :)

i'm confused. isn't cherokee pointless unless u have a massive screen? because well yes it doesn't use the mouse but it has to be visible so u can't exactly do anything else while it's running. also 2 runescape clients don't even fit on most peoples computers no?

Markus

2007-06-24 07:24:18

You don't need a massive screen, only a high resolution.
And you can do many other things while it is running, just use the "Client always on top" feature of SCAR.
Cherokee is also nice for VM's. Raymond told me he has a big resolution in his VM so he can use two scar's in it.
And if you have two screens (or your computer thinks you have two ;) ), you can just drag cherokee to the other screen so you have one to work and one for autoing.

Yakman

2007-06-24 07:32:20

well i made this mostly so you can auto with one scar, and do other stuff as well, and it does annoy me a bit when people say things like "oh shame, it still needs to be visible", I mean come one! you're already halfway there.

So true, and if you want it offscreen don't use scar. Use Ibot, it is already wonderful we can use a 'virtual' mouse!

Btw, Yakman thanks for answering my questions and fixing Cherokee!

Well you kinda need a big screen for a big resolution.
Yaka how big is your screen?
My res is like: 1680X1050 and my monitor is like 20-22 inches. So this will be nice for me =).

Tanks for explaining masta.
Want to edit you first post and add that information to make it more user friendly?

Yea i will ^^. My resolution is 1024 x 768. But i use this at my VMware i can put the resolution up to around 2024 x 1600. So i can run as many Cherokee's as i want at my VMware. Im still looking for a fake monitor or fake resolution program so i can use this at my normal desktop.

YoHoJo

2007-06-24 22:52:10

Iv searched for fake res programs.
I dont think they exists or its possible.
Maybe its has to do with your video card /driver/screen size.
Doubt a program can help.
But tell me if you find one =).

Markus

2007-06-25 02:42:53

I'm pretty sure it is possible. Info about the monitors is stored in the register at HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Enum\DISPLAY , in the subfolders info is stored about the individual monitors (drivers and stuff).
If we figure out how we can create our own monitors, then you can just add a monitor with resolution 1000000x1000000 or something.

Forcing your resolution above what the monitor can handle will make it go out of range and you will have to reboot the computer in safe-mode to change it back :P

Markus

2007-06-26 02:13:29

A monitor that doesn't exist has an unlimited max resolution.

I'm not sure but I don't think it does.
Putting a cable in your videocard that doesn't connect to a monitor does.

Well i am not sure, just try it :D. I think it doesn't work, but maybe your lucky!

EDIT: I don't think GoScreen works, because it just minimizes the screen 8-)
