As fakawi said, the biggest obstacle to overcome now is getting past the indefinatly changing colors.
My guess: New Java Client, basically doing the same thing scarscape did. I know it would be alot of work to get another client up and running, and I'm not sure how the new engine would render the clients useless each update. Though, in my eyes, that would be the simplist solution.
What do you guys think?
If you know of anyone who has started this, please let me know. I would love to help.

This would not be good to make as it is illegal, and Fakawi dosn't want to get involved with anything…

Also, how would anyone make a client??
All Java clients have been shut down.
I think DTM walking, and Tolerance walking will make most things fine..

Well atm a new client is impossible as no one has decompiled the new client source code to make this from, It seems Jagex has made there own Obfuscation(sp) so Its gonna be Almost-Impossible to crack. I personally belive scar is well able to handle the problem we just need to expand our horizons on scripting to fix it.

Agreed. And i think dtms could be used more effectively. Or you could just try autoing on one character.
But maybe you could have the scripts recheck the colors when they change accounts (That is the problem, isnt it? I really hope the new game engine doesnt randomly reload colors.) This might be a scripting nightmare tho..

Scripts will grow in size. I have already started mapwalking with dtm's. The trouble is you cant run when using dtm's to mapwalk. As said before fakawi doesnt support clients :( I am getting better and better at pascal, so I IF allowed I will make it ;) We will fight, we will over come this update !

I'm sorry, I didn't know clients were illegal or I would not have brought it up.
Again, I know that all java bots/clients are broken. I guess I don't see it through the eyes of a scripter yet, because I figured it would be easier to decompile the source. But I didn't know they had made their own obfusication (if so.)
That was also a fear of mine. Instead of changing colors when you reload the client as it was before. I feared it would change in real time, as it does rotate.
What is a DTM really, why is it any different than a bitmap? I mean, what would it do to help with color variances. Maybe if I had an example of what you would make a DTM out of?
Whenever I think of solving the problem I think of detecting the environment like a java bot would. It is hard for me to block all that out and only see a patch of colors/pixels on a screen, instead of packets of information.
I want to learn scripting, and I'm trying. Stick with me. heh, please and thank you

DTM's are like bitmap 'outlines.' So they find objects by shape rather than by colors.

Iamadam, you got it backwords, bitmaps use shapes dtms are just certain colored pixel's in relation to other colored pixels.
