Finding talking randoms in SRL does not seem to work. I set player nickname, use SetupSRL,
what else do you have to do? It's just that it never seems to find the randoms when they appear :confused: Could someone give me instructions if I'm doing something wrong, and tell me why this doesn't work? Thanks

1) Make Sure You Have DeclarePlayers set right
2) Have FindNormalRandoms;
3) Make sure the anti randoms procedure is working throughout your script.
4) DeclarePlayers;

E.g - Just giving you the basic idea of it.

program New;
{.include SRL/SRL.Scar}

procedure RandsX;
begin
FindNormalRandoms;
//Any other random related you would like to add
end;

procedure ChopTree;
begin
if(FindObj(x, y, 'Chop', 34238432, 5))then
begin
Mouse(x, y, true);
Wait(2000);
end;
end;

procedure RandsHere;
begin
repeat
ChopTree;
RandsX;//Make it Anti- Randomnized throughout the script
until(InvFull)
end;

//MainLoop
begin
DeclarePlayers;//Make Sure to Do this!
SetUpSRL;
repeat
RandsHere;
RandsX;
until(Balha > 100)
end.

Yeah sorry found out what my problem was: if the script was already logged in it wouldn't LoginPlayer – this is where it sets NickNameBMP and thats probably why it wasn't finding the randoms.

Shoulda searched the forums first… sorry

No problemo.

for the bolded here's an example just in case. ;D

//Main Loop
begin
DeclarePlayers;//Or the other technique here
SetUpSRL;
if(not(LoggedIn))then
LoginPlayer;
repeat
......
