FiteCavess Boss Killer

Fakawi, or some other fair scripter, if capable, make a fighter aimed specifically towards defeating the lvl 700+ boss. The concept is actually quite simple, change the prayer (either to range or mage pro) by detecting the animation of the big guy. The detection system obviously has to be extremely fast, almost to the lvl of the now non-working java animation detection systems. Here are some of the actions that must be included:
- Detect current prayer, and adjust/change accordingly (dont change if boss keeps same attack)
- Detect healers, change to long range, and shoot them once. then attack the boss again.
- Detect prayer lvl, and pot accordingly. This MUST be done right after a change in pray.
otherwise the player will be busy potting while a change in pray is required.
- Detect HP, eat food. Once again, right after a pray change.
- Continue to change prayer efficiently without interruption of user input.
This is a pretty simple script. The only problem is the bugs that come in while developing a fast enough detection system. Mine of course are a little buggy (non srl).
It would be nice to have the cape on all sub mains. :p

It's hard to detect animations with scar. Easier to just use a tokkul getter and raise your lvls til you can kill it your self :\

The key to defeating the boss lies on efficiently changing prayers. You'd have to be a high lvl to even get to the boss in the first place. So it's not about not being able to kill him, but not being able to change the prayers effectively. It takes a great deal of concentration. :p
He's a huge pain, believe me. especially with the high percentage of mistake.

Developing an animation detection system can open the doors to many other possibilities. Including those like faster attack systems
This sounds like a good script suggestion. I might be able to get some uses in, yet again its sounds extremely hard and a tedious task. If you lagged just a little, the entire script could mess up and make you die…

Lag is definitely and issue, but if you lagged, you would die with or without the script. :p

it is extremely difficult trying to detect animations using scar.. you would have to detect every other creature around it, as well as differentiate between lava, a healer, you, and the tok-tok-jad (i believe is the name).. i will be releasing a tokkuler soon here, i just need to make a few tweaks..
it would just be best to do the boss fighting the legit way.. yourself..
humans can make better decisions than scar can, by far.. however, we do not know what the great kaitnieks himself will do for SCAR 2.04 (or higher)

Differentiating between the healer, yourself and the jad is quite easy. Not only are we all different colors, but bitmaps can be applied very easily as well. Regarding the Jad, a bitmap of his "paw" lol, can be used, and a script written regarding the action of this bitmap. Colors used here would be a bit of trouble. :S.
One of the issues you presented was that of detecting all of the creatures around it, well, the truth is there are none. He fights solo. Only when the healers come in, (they are totally different in color, and are very very very small. like dwarfs.) but they wont be too hard to detect. So the idea behind this is only using bmp's or even the color of the jad. Im pretty sure its a shade of red not found everywhere. Either way, I'd have to be precise.

here this is a edited verson of squigs tokkul getter it radomly choses one fo 3 prayers its srl nto sure if it works atm but only 3 peolle have it so you will be good on that factor lol well gl with it

ManofHonor, a script with that detection is nearly impossible. Bitmaps wont work, and neither will color picking. The high amount of red in the area makes color pickin impossible for detection. Also, who would be willing to spend hundreds of k buyin the supplies needed to just get to the guy to test.
If you say it is quite easy, why not do it yourself?

If you took some bitmaps and colour samples, told us what they were (with screens if you wish), then we could at least try.. I haven't gotten up to the level 700 yet :/ I need more levels..

brown, its definitely possible, ill post my finished script exactly then, when its finished. You have to lock the map and view (low angle), in order to minimize the processing power required to rotate and change around the bmps.
Another possibility is creating a trigger for the change of prayer. Whenever you press a key, say spacebar, scar changes it. Preferably using silent mouse or ghost mouse. =s. Because you'll want to have the 'real' mouse availiable to use for potting and eating. but then again, you'd have to time those two actions yourself. Either way, its a lot easier than multi-tasking all of it. minimizes error. ;)

yes i did the edits on most of it.. i have made one from scratch that to me will be better… it is harder to revamp an old script rather than to make one from scratch
edit: kept reply on too long :p
there is not way to lock the minimap exactly using scar.. silentmouse will also give you a ban fairly easy..

Problem Solved. IsFunctionKeyDown is the way to go.

Haha ^^
Of course you can, you dont know that much about scar do you?
well you could do
if IsFunctionKeyDown(2) then
blablabla ;)

It might be easier for you to use hotkeys to put prayers on really fast. It could be any key you want.. 1 For each prayer even.

Yea, exactly. Oh Prince, I scripted back when SCAR 2.13 was out, and I was really really good. With SRL and the new SCAR, I'd have to review all the functions availiable. I went through the SRL "guide" and didnt find anything relating to my problem (if functionkeydown(2) etc), so i naturally assumed that it was not yet implemented in the code. Obviously in this case, SCAR has its own package of functions that I overlooked.
Although it is true, I haven't scripted for SCAR since August of Last Year, I can't quite recall everything that was possible. I coded for a bunch of other languages, and when that happens, things start getting complicated. I did several derivatives of pascal, I did Java and c+ basic, and a ton of other more advanced programming. So yea, its not that I don't know the ridiculously easy teaching language of pascal (applied to SCAR), is just that i've done so many other things and its easy to get confused as to whether or not you're limited to certain packages.

I dont think anything would happen if you made hotkeys that made the script go (without movemouse, just as fast as it can), nothing would really happen. I mean, they dont ban you just because of that. once, i let a macro (it was some gay one that repeats the same way and such) run moving the mouse exact same path kind of fast back and forth for half an hour to see if i would get banned… I didnt. (this was EZ-Macros lolcake.)
