since were a private community now, no reason to seperate the leecher and members forum. give people a few weeks to get known in the community, post some scripts, whatnot. combine the leecher and members scripts into "scripts", mabey a "new scripter" script section. something of the sort, we should have no more "leechers" and alot more "members"

1/3 of the people are actually the "deservitives" around here. Splitting the section has done no harm, except making maybe a couple n00bs desperate ;D.

the scripts still need to be seperated, theres about 400+ members we are unsure about and this community is not leecher friendly, honestly all my next scripts will have compiling errors built into them as a leech guard.

I like it how we have a leechers and a members, makes it more of a challenge. I want to earn the right to use good scripts.

I think this is a bad idea. I'm not a member, i'm saying what i think would be best for the community. You should have to put something into the community to get something out. :p

no because we dont think people who cant get off there asses and learn a
bit of code to script one time … thats all you need.. one good script to get
into the mebers section.. i mean we dont give anything away for free unless
its in the leecher area.. then its just garbage thrown out. member section
should be kept seperate from all the lil nubs around here. they can leech all
they want on leecher scripts (surprise surprise) but they dont need to be
bugging us about every lil problem within a script like the simple ones…
like no Begin Where a Begin should be same with end and … if they dont
know how to fix it themselves or dont know how to ask without saying
(well basicly saying)

"hey your my bicth now so go fu*king fix this da*n script already!". ( i have gotten somthing similar to this a while back when kait was around.) (and actully its the same thing i got in the pm but there were a whole lot more words..)

thats why we have a garbages section(leecher script) so we dont have
to mind their lil comments. I have had horrible experinces with nubs.
they should all die. they about made me give up on scripting because
evrything that couldnt be perfect had to be.

its simple for them they can script … which is a whole lot of fun , but nubs just dont see that they are still to obsessed with RS and making money… Scar is nice for saving time and all but they spend way to much of their time leeching,

And there isnt no way in hell that member script are combining with leechers…

thats like throwing a new couch in the garbage it isnt right and makes perfect sense not to combine the sections.

all scripters ask for is

some quit to work on their scripts.
no begging.
no 1337 talk unless its about them like (' you are 1337!) then thats cool (but dont use 1337 through the whole sentence)
no complaining about simple mistake that you can fix by looking at it basicly
dont send 100 Pms to one person.
learn a bit of code yourselves
dont go and act like you own the scripter and tell him to fix it right now.

see i hate leechers so much that i dont even have a broken heart to show for it… its all consumed by fire.

lol i dont have to use a tool i learned it a year ago and i type it diffrently so they are like WTF are you talking about, but basicly we are sayiing.

The leechers area is a garbage can.
The members area is a new store with free stuff.

Andrew killed kaitnieks not leechers. If you were ever there and took time to read the rules you would understand that leechers were welcomed. I was a leecher back in the day. Poor old joker. I have all his scripts in my old script files. And i didnt say a word of thank you. But now look. We all have to start somewhere.

Combining leecher + member scripts is a bad idea, now people can leech even more. Before you had to work for better scripts.

My opinion:
Most people usually come here (I'm talking about initially) to leech.
When they find that the best scripts are available only to those who contribute, they either whine about it, spam about it, put up with it, or take an interest in it.
Once they start to learn, they will want to learn more, however: getting them interested in it is the vital step. I think these forums do that well.

Isn't this a moot point now?
