Well, all thanks to BullzEye < — My Buddy :)

Press CTRL + ALT + DEL

Task Manager Appears,

Then — >

Right Click runescape.exe Process name,
And choose RealTime Processing as in Picture —– >

NOTE: When you press PLAY on scar, it takes a little bit more time as "Normally" but it's ok, after that scar works brilliantly, with out a single LAG !

I have, go to your ISP, give them $10000000 and you'll get the fastest download speed of the world :p

Haha thanks for making a tutorial on this :)

EDIT: And people make sure you DO NOT accidentally, or experimentally set it on Realtime. That will end up bad :p

Get Firefox, then go to Tools -> Add-ons -> Get Extensions. Search for an extension called 'Download Them All'. Install it, then restart Firefox. Now go to Tools -> Download Them All -> Preferences -> Advanced -> Multipart Download. Set 'Max chunks' number per download' to 10.

Smartz I think you mean "DownThemAll"

Could you please change the tutorial to say put it on high? Because realtime can sometimes lock up your computer so you can't even use your mouse. And high should have close to the same effects.

I'm assuming they mean overall, I'm on a 2 MBPS connection, I could be downloading a torrrent at 100MBPS/second, but my ISP would only allow me to use 2MBPS of it. If you want higher download speeds, get faster connection and learn abuot how servers work.

I agree about the spammage, but not that it doesn't necessarily work.

Setting priority would make the runescape client work better, sure, but how can you guarantee that SCAR will run well under those same conditions?

And PLEASE PEOPLE! Learn to spell! (You know who you are >.>)

Scar will do fine under RealTime Processing as far as I used it. Although, this doesn't speed up your computer, but this makes your runescape priority number 1 and so take most out of your memory and processor.

Thats right, its all down to your processor power. In my (expert :p) opinion I would never run a program real-time even with a power quadcore pc ;)

Not because the power isnt there, but because regardless of power everything slows as more RAM capacity is being used to ensure the programs runs and the operating system stays stable. The max I do is high :)

If i do that with my computer, it freezes the mouse so i have to shut down the computer :p.

But on a better computer it works really well.

Thank you for the information. But from the experiences I've had on my horrible computer with realtime, I prefer to just stick with high priority.

What client do you use?

I'm currently using the default one in S.M.A.R.T. scripts.

and I noticed you're using "runescape.exe" , Is that the default executable client on Runescape.com?

Nice tip, you can also kill all the unneeded process to help your cpu.
Theres also a nice little program called ccleaner that gets rid of all the junk on your drives =)

lysolman00

Also, change some unneeded programs to not startup on startup. This will make your macroing experience a little faster and less lagg. (This is from experience)
