Wow, you guys aren't wasting any time …OK, well, let me say this much, without letting on to much, RAM is my initials, but it is also the Nickname I have gone by since I was little …..and well, Rune..we all know what that is….So, that's how my name in the RS forums came to be……my first thoughts was a ram or ram's head, that was Rune plated, like a blue tinted chrome color, but I put it on a shield, as it went along with the medieval theme of RS……. WHAT AM I LOOKING FOR ? Creativity, other than that, I'm not sure…I'm leaving it up to the community to decide what is the coolest…. and i just thought this would be a fun way to get everyone in the community excited…After all, who doesn't like winning money :spot:

Ok, Um, I was thinking..being an Avatar, it's right next to my name, so I really don't need my name in it, also ;)….I was thinking a bit more medieval based, kinda like what I have..shields..or swords, but with some kind of an imagine with a ram…..

I'm going to wait a week and see how many more responses we get here, then in a week..we can have a mini poll here, of what the top 8 are, then I will add them to the list…..

I edited it at the top, that you can submit as many original pictures here as you want, but they can't just be variations of your own picture….

Kinda has the medieval look to it, but the lighting adds a certain effect. I'll make another with more of a medieval/swords/weapons/anything else old one.

Ummm, yeah :)

I was thinking this wouldn't necessarily work voting wise.

Since people will get only one vote, and let's say there are 2 equally good avatars (That are the best). People will only vote for them, and not for any of the other 6 or so avatars. Therefore making you decide the order for the rest of them. So you should make people list their favorites so it'll look like. (1 = best, 6 = worst)

1: Monkey's
2: Sizze's
3: Conundrum
4: Ni hao ma?
5: WTH
6: Mokey stew.

Then you (Or someone else) tallies up who got what place how many times therefore you'd get the order for the avatars. (I can do it if you'd like)

I will make another, but the size limits are so hard to work with seeing as it's an avatar.

What is it, 50x50 pix max? And probably a size limit therefore reduction of quality. I'll try dude, but I don't think I can practically work within those size limitations.

Also, the last entry I posted wasn't a signature, it was an avatar, hence the general look of it. I kept it big so it didn't lose quality when re-sized.

A couple things I'd like to know.

What dimensions? NxN
Can it be animated?
And suggest a theme you want it, or I can use my own idea for it.

There has been a discussion on the size additions that SRL members receive along with the additions of CUPS, so I think I have a 85x85 space, but not completely sure.

Animated would be super cool…..

Theme on the front page, something along the lines of a "Rune RAM", but as you can see by some of the submissions, I guess my specifications weren't a %100 clear, but I don't mind, doesn't really need my name in it, as it is my avatar and will be right next to my name anyways….As long as it is an original idea….I think everyone has some competion with Jukka's creations :D

Yeah, you're not understanding, 2 million in PRIZES …the Grand Prize winner is the 1st place spot..1 million …( 1 mill+ 750 k + 500 k + 250 k + (50 k x 5) = 2 million…….You can enter with as many different pictures as you want…so, if you have 8 kick ass pictures, you could win all 2 million……

Sorry for double posting, but…..it took a few days to sink in what you were saying, and um, yeah, I will assign names and numbers to the pictures, and we can vte on the top 8 from best to least, and tally them up, then I will submit to Masq, to start the poles…I don't think there is a multi-pole option, but with 5 runner up places, I don't think it will matter much….

No one here has any remote originality. All pics are googled and photoshopped over another googled picture. (Including Mine), I got the Ram pic on google, added text and animated it.

So…? :p Some of us (like me) don't have the photoshop skills to do anything else…;)

I might enter this, see'ing as people here are "Graphically Challenged" for the most part. (trying to be "politically correct" for all of the super-liberals :p)

Is it just me, or is every single other picture on the list of 8 just a googled ram picture thats been played with on photoshop? This was made 100% on Microsoft Paint. No googled images with cheesy filters slapped on like every other submission.

To be honest, you shouldn't buy any avy for 1m. Perfect pixel avys (pixel ones are far more expensive) only sold for 500k max back when there was a media marketplace on tipit. Filtered poorly cropped, googled images should never go for 1m. 1m would normally go for a forum skin or full website, or absolutely PERFECT pixel art, which is well, rare to find someone with the patients and talent to make.

Alls I'm saying is its a bad idea to fork out more than 200k in a comp like this, unless theres an insane entry, which is impossible for an avy as they are so small.

Also, umm, shouldn't there be the size of 80x80 which is the highest size avy this forum allows.

I'm not saying mine is the most original :p. There are many others up there that are good, googling images is fine (I personally like Jukka #1), but just adding text to something isnt really doing much. Things like RS_Monkeys are good because, instead of just slapping text onto it, the image was incorporated and expanded upon. VG_Kobra used a creative idea and is original. I'm simply saying, if you google something, at least make it your own by adding and changing it.

I know I'm kinda anal about graphics and such, but I'm former design staff at a large graphic design forum, which is the reason for my being that way.

And BTW, I play RS maybe 5 minutes a week (including autoing, pixel money really has no value, I just like making graphics)

You also only had time to take the image off of google and wright Ram Rune on it… :p Also, you were in 2nd when Ram said it would end (after a tie breaker for 3rd was broke, and now after that happened people ended messing up the votes more).

The tie for 3rd made the scores 5 - 5 - 7 -9, and Ram said it will end after the tie is broken.
then someone voted for VG making the scores [6 Vg] -[7 You]- [9 Me] at when RAM said it would end.

Bieng a member of this forum cannot incriminate everyone as an autoer. Some people are here for the community (such as myself). Even if some people were concered about that, a place could always be arranged via MSN and PMs.
