Well on my laptop, scar goes really slow, when on my desktop it goes fine.
Its not a problem with the computer specs or anything, as they are more than enough to run SCAR. Its not a problem with mousespeed either, on the laptop MouseSpeed := 0 is only slightly faster than MouseSpeed := 15 on my desktop.
And on the laptop, a Wait(500) goes for a couple of seconds.
no idea whats going on.

Maybe your laptop is not using the same type of technology in the CPU as in the desktop. Desktops can use higher end technology cause it doesnt have to worry bout over heating. Make sure to check to see if you have a Hyper Threading CPU or a Pentium 4 CPU in you desktop. Thank can make a huge difference. Thats all I could think of that could slow down your computer.

Yea, AMD are made more for gaming and handling gaming data. Pentium Mobile so you can kinda do some hard work on the laptop with some decent speed just like the desktop. You have the same CPU in your laptop as my mom does, but my mom's is 1.2ghz. 500 hertz dont really make a difference but I know what you mean by slow. Takes forever to compile.

Go to your power manager and make sure the CPU speed is set all the way max, becuase on my dads laptop the cpu speed was like set to half speed at all times to save battery power..
