i believe the smart client uses double buffer, the game canvas gets copied and printed on the "paint canvas" the paint canvas is what you see on your smart screen. Jagex is not be able to see the red dot but DOES know your mouse location. Every 50ms the mouse location will be saved and when the mouse is pressed or the queue is full it will be send to jagex.
is that only when active on the game client, or on another program like a web browser?
For example, I have a script that moves the mouse off screen as though I am watching netflix on my other monitor (like I normally do). Can they get the positioning of my mouse while it is not inside the java container?
