2nd one seems to be the very nicest
3rd one original but maybe toobig letters
4th one very original if i needed to choose maybe id go with 4th one over 2nd.

I like the 2nd one the best, feels like it would fit in the script very well. Fourth is a very close second. Third the letters are too big and a bit hard to read. It feels to "in your face" rather than a nice banner.

  • I like the layout of the first two, though #1 doesn't have a lot of aesthetic appeal for me.
  • #3 's backdrop is a very nice background, it incorporates relevant aspects of woodcutting. However, the text is rather "dull" and not as entertaining as some of the others.
  • #4 has a nice basic text typeface with a complimentary background, and the colors are not overwhelming to the eye. Moreover, the axes give it depth. On the otherside, that's what it sums up to: complimentary colors and Text, not much more exciting elements to it.

A good example of what I mean by that last statement is perfectly captured by your #2 , which I find to be my favorite. It has a dark and gloomy atmospheric backdrop with different colors (ie. the dark brown dirt and the usual dark green trees, but also the red leaves off of the two middle trees) mixed with the contrasting neon texts that pop out at the viewer. Further, the image is relevant to the purpose through the use of the axe, caped persons, and the Magic logs. Any viewer will instantly understand, while being amused at the variation and contrast of colors, of the banner's funcitonal and informational purposes.
