Name - Login Script
What does the script do? and Where does it do it? Logs your account in and keeps you logged in.
What does the script achieve? Helps for afking/botting with crappy internet connection when getting disconnected a lot.
f2p/p2p? any other level / skill / quest requirements? no requirements
Do you have an account with these requirements you could lend to a dev? I don't know if an account is even needed
Difficulty… (Easy/Medium/Hard) Should be pretty easy

Hey Simba script writers,

It would be super beneficial if someone could scrape up a quick and easy modular script that would log a character in and then have a section that keeps checking to see if the character is still logged in. If not, then log in again. It would be really awesome if it was modular so it would be easily implementable into other people's scripts.

This has just been a problem lately since I've been having a lot of disconnections from bad internet connection and I'm sure there are many others that feel me on this.

Thanks Guys

Sudocode example:

//setup and libraries
start smart
get libraries needed

//populate login variables
get username
get password
get world

//LOGIN FUNCTION
click world selection box in bottom left
click wanted world
click username box
type username
click password box
type password

//CHECK IF LOGGED IN FUNCTION
check if at login screen
if yes, run LOGIN FUNCTION
if no, wait an amount of time (5 seconds) and check again

//MAIN
LOGIN FUNCTION
while(1){
CHECK IF LOGGED IN FUNCTION
}

I'm pretty sure all of this is already in the osrs include. Atleast in my scripts I have it set so if a disconnection does occur it logs back in. For account details just use the Declareplayers function.

If you go to the osrs include then core folder then open the login.simba file you can read through the different functions you can call.

For example a very simplified function for logging back in if disconnected:

if not LoggedIn then
begin
Wait(60000);
LoginPlayer;
end;

Call it somewhere in your mainloop and if you are not logged in it will wait 60 seconds (Usually good to wait for a bit after a ddos dc) then it will log back in with the details you provid in DeclarePlayers;

if(not isLoggedIn) then
players[0].login;

I think as others have said many scripts have this included but still a good idea :)

Yep this is correct, you can check to see if the scripts you're running have this implemented and if not just add it into the mainloop.
