Hello guys,

Recently they have updated the runescape client with a new feature called world switching as you can see here :

Bot analyses? since when did they add a world specific for botters? I never saw a poll about it :cartman:

Has anybody been put in these worlds before?

Nice spotting ;) Haven't been put there *yet* haha. Will be cool to see if the scripters can incorporate the new content update :)

I figure it's for old school, RS3 doesn't have that.

but thanks for the heads up, i'll make sure my scripts check the world we're in via friends list or something to ensure our world hasn't been moved.

Those worlds have been there for over a year now. They have only just been added to the world switcher.

What exactly do those worlds do? I'm assuming anyone can go an play in the world, but why would they post worlds with those names?

Supposedly bots (and some regulars) got transferred to them so they could be investigated and eventually banned.
Others say it's to "Free up resources for legit players" and if you're into conspiracies "Make it seem like there's less bots in runescape".

They probably transfer bots to those worlds & tamper with them. It's also quite likely colors/ID's are different in those worlds to break bots, but that's just a theory. Might be for a higher detail of bot-watch like a higher version of bot monitoring or manual monitoring.

I.E
System detects a bot but isn't finished fully compiling information to ensure it is
- account gets moved to analysis world
- manual tests/monitoring done on the accounts flagged in those worlds

I doubt the IDs and colors are different

Nothing changes on those worlds afaik. It's just to try and remove suspected bots from legit players, hell I bot on the botworlds most of the time and have yet too be banned.

I do the same. Resources are MUCH less packed. Combat locations are MUCH less packed. Imagine rs, but with only a small fraction of the people there. It's paradise.
