I remember a scam that had me fooled. It told me to add a guy called money bags, to trade him a hammer a bronze bar and 99k then shout 99! He would trade me a pile of ash and i was to use it on an anvil and i would get 99 smithing, yep it was brilliant till i traded me and he forgot the ash and said i didnt need it and i yelled scam and ran.
