Hi,

Taking requests for a script to write in OGL. Looking for a skilling script only, in which there is no running to a bank. Bank standing scripts are fine. Ask away!

Runespan or Divination would be cool. I think both are annoying to do in color, I don't know if that holds true for OGL

Less annoying. I did div back during bxp weekend with obsLib in about 20 minutes. got from 91-99.

Oh, right forgot to specify the exact spot, yes Combat Academy, but if you feel like it's going to be a good idea to do it in the Lumbridge bank at the castle, it's fine too. Bonfires would be great as well as spirit detection.

Can do, got any f2p accounts with decent FM I could test it on? Also, I'm not sure what world bonfires happen on or the exact process :p

Or it could possibly go like this:
Try to detect if there's a bonfire present > if yes, click on the log or use the actionBar to open the tool screen and select 'Add to bonfire' > if not, select 'Tinderbox' to make your own bonfire then add the next log to the bonfire.

And even an account with 1 FM would work here because it will just withdraw the logs from the bank, possibly using a preset and then do the log burning procedure and withdraws more when it runs out of logs to burn. But I do have an account for you to use, if you still think it's necessary, it does have logs there as well.:)

As for the spirit detection, it's not really necessary but it'd be a good addition since people think that firemaking makes you lose them gp's when training it.:p

Hunter in OGL is actually more difficult than I thought. Spent like five hours in Skype call with @Justin making a Jadinkos script, and only was able to do partial functionality.

Edit for anyone else who cares: finished the firemaking script, gonna give it progress reports and make it a bit more human/inefficient and release it tomorrow. Any other locations besides lumby and shantay?

Burthorpe and north of the combat academy near the wheat and cabbage patch would be my suggestion.

Runespan sounds like a good idea. I spent forever getting all the colors for my script and it still picks up a lot of extra junk in the background.

But I don't see how divination is hard in color, at least from 1-60, which is all I've done. The wisps and rift are a totally unique color compared to the background and it only takes a few seconds to update the colors for each location.

Okay, firemaking is done.

Looks like the next highly demanded script is runecrafting, of which I'm assuming runespan is the main area desired. If anyone has an account they would like to lend, I can do it. Don't have a members account with runecrafting at the moment.

+1 for hunter.

With your old butterfly script not working anymore, there not being an alternative to ashaman salamanders, and hunter being the hardest skill to do legit; it would be great to have someone with advanced knowledge have a go at it. My suggested route would be:
1-30~ vine sweeper bunnies (probably lower the camera angle, run around the entire arena maybe twice catching rabbits and then hopping worlds, takes maybe 3~ hours to get out of this range)
alternatively, you could catch birds 1-30 but if I recall correctly the bunnies are just as fast/faster

29-50 probably green salamander is fastest (I don't think ashaman's one actually works here)
50-63 I think penguins at the penguin fortress place after doing one of the penguin quests is fastest, but you could also just stay at green salamanders as it isn't too bad something like 30k~/hr xp anyway

not including red salamanders because ashaman's one already does that super well last I checked
63-80 Red chins are supposed to be nice xp (I botted it with red salamanders though)
80+ I think the draconic jadinkos are the best here but you could also just re-do your butterflies in ogl (pls) :p
77+ could probably do grenwall script, would probably have to drop all the herbs and require the tirawn quiver which removes need for meat, don't know how accessible this would be to a lot of people

DirectX != OpenGL, so no.

They're two different display modes, utilising two different rendering APIs. ogLib (the OpenGL include) works for OpenGL only.

Just upvoted Smithing because we need a AIO portable forge script. On a portable forge you can smelt and smith, you can train both crafting (jewellery) and smithing of course. I only have a lvl 44 smithing accoun and 87 crafting account, not much help but if you need :)

Basically have a lot of portable forges in your bank. Place one down every 5 minutes (left click, hit yes), then you can smelt or smith on it for more xp/bonuses.

Have it smith/smelt whatever. All I know is the best for 120/200m smithing is using them with rune 2h's for minimal gp/xp.

I don't know much about crafting/smelting.

You could probably just set up a script by making bronze 2hs and then convert the ID to rune. Portable forges are about 20k each tops I bet.

Definitely a RuneSpan script. I hate runecrafting so much and I don't have the ability yet to even start making a RuneSpan script :(

Update for anyone who cares: Runespan is done, however filtering out other islands is still giving me trouble and until that is solved (MMtoMS polygon @Obscurity??) I do not want to release it. I will be out of the country for the next two weeks, but when I get back I will continue to works on requests here and my slayer script :)

MMtoMS isn't accurate enough without zoom. So until The GLX update, there won't be MMtoMS or vice-versa.


Does the RuneSpan map reload at all once you're in? Like, if you go too far east does it load a new tile? Because I can get something's position in the 3D world (not related to position on screen) with the minimap. But, if it reloads, positions change by ~40 tiles.

For those who are curious, i've nearly completed my ZMI script. It'll be a good alternative to Runespan.

Ive been messing around with an agility script for OGL. Still got a fair amount of problems with it, but I did only start it yesterday with not a lot of time put into it.

ross, I would love you if you could bring back your butterfly catching script. I think i was like the only one who ever used it when it was out lool. But i loved it soo much haha xD …. my account got hacked so i cant give u one ith the requirments. but if u could make them. BOOM…. all my love ;)
