there have been some changes recently with browser support of java and so I'm wondering if it would look odd to jagex for someone to be using a script that instructs them to input their user agent which may happen to be a version which is known to no longer support java.
Does anyone have recommendations for the following or do I not understand how this works and I'm worried about nothing?
1. What user agent is the most common and should be input as the user of a script requiring a user agent string? Would it simply be better to alter any script to no longer supply that to smart?
2. As a scripter, does the practice of supplying a user agent string to smart make sense anymore?
