So I followed all the steps for installing Simba and all that, but when I start the script, I get this error. I've tried reinstalling Java and that won't work.

I've really got no experience here, so I just don't know what to do… what does it even mean?

I DON'T KNOW MUCH ABOUT THIS SHTUFF EITHER. But if I had to guess… Try installing the 64-bit version of java. The debug window is saying: "Can't load a 32-bit .dll on a 64-bit platform"

Give it a shot. Tell me if it worked…

Wrong way around, I think. He has an x86_64 Java installation, but the dynamic link libraries (libsmartjni32.dll in particular for this case) are compiled for an i386 JVM.

In English: he has 64-bit Java and needs 32-bit.

So, OP, please follow these instructions:
  • Uninstall all versions of Java on your computer
  • Reboot
  • Install the 32-bit version of Java 7 or 8, doesn't matter which
  • Reboot
  • Try loading SMART again

The reboots in between are important, make sure you do them.
