I'd like to start out by saying this is an awesome community. I've been creeping on villavu for the last week figuring out some public scripts and learning a little about SRL and how it works. I've never coded or known how programming works and it's been fun running through these little SRL scripts.

I found this site just researching ways to "bot" in runescape to get some levels. I hardly have any free time to play anymore, between full time work, and my 7 month old daughter. So that's my excuse. Is it cheating? I'm sure that's a debate for another time.

Little about me, I have a Bachelors In ES (Exercise Science) from the great University of Washington! Go Huskies! I work as a Personal Trainer for a fitness center. Love to make music in spare time.

Anyways, i'm thankful I stumbled onto this site because it's giving me an opportunity to learn something that I have no knowledge about. Looking through those public script codes, some of it I realized was logical. Other parts, I had no idea what I was reading…That really was irritating for me because I like to know it all!

Thanks for reading my little intro, and i'm looking forward to meeting some great people and hopefully, learning something!

Welcome!
Since your looking at the code you might as well take a look here: https://villavu.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=648
It's easier then it looks, I've got multiple scripts wrote already and they're getting easier and easier to write. It'll be well worth your time and if you have any questions just ask on the forums.

Welcome!

I've been here for a couple of months and I've never coded prior to joining either. I'm picking up bits of knowledge here and there however and it's great fun! I'd even say my interest has changed from botting to scripting: I haven't gained much xp since I started to script :P. I started off looking at code in public scripts too. Anyway hope you have a great time around (I know I am)!

You and me both.:norris: But I bet you'll be able to figure it out too, like I did. Or perhaps even better!

Welcome to the community.:)
