hey guys i am new to here, i actually just got back into runescape for the first time since 2012 about a month ago. i immediately looked into botting since it is what i have known rs to be good for since 2005. I was thinking back to the good days about 2010 and so when rsbots.net was alive and was looking to see if any of my old members transferred over to here. i was using tribot but their bots are shit. i was wondering if these bots are as good as the old snailmans. thanks guys

It depends on the script and if the script is good im 99% sure u wont be banned.In the few months i've been on here i havent got a single ban yet..

Colour is a very old form of botting, mix it with reflection and a good scripter, you pretty much dont get banned unless you suicide.

I also came from rsbots.net, it was a much larger community and different expierence there; is a shame to what happened to NeXus and the community. :/

Some names that come to my mind: SladeRS (creator of AutoRuneCrafterPro), Ploo (Creator of AutoClueScrollsPro), SexyJesus, WhatsABot, earldabeast, and a bunch of others that I can't remember because its been such a long time..

A bunch of the rsbots.net members ended up migrating to here, and the other sites such as pb.

However, very few of them are still active to this day. Most of them stopped being active because after seeing what happened with the snellman bros and botting in general, they probably realized they didnt want to continue and it wouldn't be the same anymore, or maybe that's just my approach.

The only good friend I know from rsbots.net and came here was @Luke L.
His guides such as the Maxed Granite Mauler guide was the bees knees, and he was well known for that. But he hasn't been active for over a year.

It looks like most of the rsb.net community moved on or go under a different alias on the forums. Anyhow, welcome to villavu!

Got 99 Runecrafting and made bank with Slade's bot. Those were the days.

It's amazing to see that the Runescape botting community always seems to pull people back even if they've moved on years ago… Welcome back :)

Haha I was on rsbots also, they we're the bees knee back in the day, got my main account to where it is now!

Crazy how hard RS came down on botters and what they've implemented to try and stop it, but where there is a will there is a way. I also think there are a lot less scripter because they're a lot less players in RS these days. The old Australian servers would have 1000+ every day, now its closer to 400-500 =(

I started off with rsbot but I made my way over to rsbots.net when rsbot kind of took a turn for the worst. The #1 script I remember from rsbots.net would be AutoSorcGarden Pro because of the absurd amount of gold it made me back in the day. I remember getting into Sorc before it started getting known as an amazing money maker and the profits were just outstanding. Within a few months though it started getting really packed but that is definitely the best memory I have from rsbots.net is their sorcgarden script. It's a little harder to bot nowadays what with powerbot, tribot, and epicbot just not being "safe enough" in my mind. The only bots I use right now are Simba and runemate because they seem to be the safest and most reliable to me. However, both have a rather limited selection of scripts so you might need to edit/create your own scripts specific to what you need at the time :p

tbh I'm quite happy "the good old days" of botting are no longer around, since it was like this.

but eh, that's just my [biased] view
