Kind of new PC build

So recently I've come to the conclusion that my current build that has lasted me for around 5 years just isn't satisfactory anymore. I keep having issues with the PC turning off randomly which i'm putting down to either the motherboard or CPU or both. I've basically put a new PSU in which is 700W and 80+ Certified so I really don't believe it is the PSU causing the issue. Right before the PC turns off the stock cooler on the CPU is going like crazy which makes me believe that it's the CPU.

So why don't I just change the CPU? Well it's such an old motherboard that it only supports chipsets up to AM3 not even AM3+ so changing the motherboard is necessary really. I've opted for an Intel i7 5820K running on an Asus X99 Deluxe motherboard. The CPU will be overclocked to a stable 4.3/4.4GHz and will be cooled with the liquid cooler NZXT Kraken x61. Due to using an X99 motherboard I'm going to buy 2 x 4GB DDR4 sticks of Corsair Vengeance LPX memory. This motherboard supports higher amounts of RAM however at the moment I feel 8GB of DDR4 at 2400MHz will do me just fine and I'll still have 2 free slots to shove another 8GB in if I really need it later.

Unfortunately due to the size of the new components I will need to buy a new case as well which is where I need some feedback, I'm looking for a well built case with great cable management and great space as I may upgrade this system in the future to include another radiator for cooling the GPU as well. This system has future proofing in mind so I feel the Haswell-E processor is a must as I can upgrade this if I need more cores in the future. So what kind of cases do you guys recommend?

Thank you :)

Id go with a motherboard issue. Check it for any bulging capacitors
as those are normally the first to go.

If youre upgrading a 5 year old cpu, the current cpus probably wont fit.

– after reading more i see you have already came to this conclusion it seems.
So for case suggestions… id go with an antec or cooler master. they are generally very large and have good cable management. Id stay away from ones that advertise hardware-less mounting and stuff as they are normally just plastic studs, and i like to make sure everything is secure. Buuut… Just find one thats pretty and youll be set.

I've never had an issue with cooler master cases. They are pretty large, so just make sure the one you pick will be able to fit where you want it to. +1 for cooler master

Yeah I quite like cooler master's cases. I've decided to either get a Corsair Graphite 780T or Cooler Master Stryker!

I'm using a ThermalTake Level 10 GT…
It's a full tower case, so it's got plenty of space inside. Besides that, as you can see on the picture, it's got 5 slots for SSD/HDDs. You just connect your cables on the inside of the case, and you can easily move them around. There's also plenty of opportunities for cable management (Check Pic. Not extremely clean, but it's fine by me)
Don't mind the dust… It's my monthly PC-cleaning day tomorrow.

Sounds like a PSU issue.
