Greetings!


I would like to ask you if a dedicated VGA would lower the usage of the cpu? Currently, I can run only 4 instances of RS without lag. I have intel I5 4690k. If dedicated VGA would help, what model should it be?

Also, if you have experience with this CPU model, how much instances can you run?

a dedicated GPU would, if anything, slightly help.. but you're not going to see crazy performance gains
that cpu should handle more than 4 though..

Yes, I have the same feeling that it should really handle more … I use stock fans though, but still, tempreature won't got above 60-65 celsius (Had some turbo-thing enable with z87m-g43 MSI motherboard feature which put it into about 95-100 celsius, btu turned that off). What could I check then to lower the cpu usage? (I have 12 GB Ram setup dual-channeled, so RAM isn't matter). I don't think each client shoudl eat 20% of the whole CPU performance …
