Screen rotates then stops script

On starting the script, it rotates the camera constantly while looking for the object and then the screen rotation stops as the script stops itself.

Any ideas on how to fix?

Thanks in advance :)

Looks like an issue with the OGL include, I've tagged the devs of the include so they can take a look at the issue.

Can you please post the code that you are using to rotate the camera?

E: Just noticed it's with Obscurity's livid farm script, no need to post the code :)

Probably best to post a problem like this on the respective script's thread, but since it's already here I'll just let @Obscurity; know

Too slow my friend, Skype notifications on new threads is the best :P

Was about to post the code lol :p

Anyways, I had to add some stuff to get it to work. It said that "vDebug" on Line 529 (near the end, line is probably different without some other minor fixes) is an unknown declaration, so I changed the v to gl and it compiled. vDebug used Demise and I can't find it anywhere.

It looks like the script was made for the older include, some functions\procedures have changed. Obs might update the script to work with the latest include.

Ah, alright. If not then I'll try to figure it out after my finals now that I know the reasoning. Some others had it working I just assumed it might be a quick fix.

It does require some of the GLX and Demise includes, yes. But that's no reason for glxMatrices() to return nil. What are your graphics settings?

And yes I'll likely update it for ogLib.

Any idea where I might be able to find Demise? I've got the GLX include. Graphics settings are simba required and the interface you recommended on the initial post.

It wouldn't even compile if it had to have Demise. A glxMatrices() error wouldn't be caused by that. It would, however, be caused by playing in DirectX.

I believe the bits of Demise that it needs were rewritten in obscurityLibrary.

Alright then. Well, I know I was in OpenGL for sure, but when I get out of class I'll go there again and make sure everything is correct once more. I've tried a few times in the past week or so though.
You don't think changing vDebug(M) (at the bottom of the script) to glDebug(M) would cause this do you? vDebug required the Demise include.

Naw. The debug only shows the IDs on screen - nothing more. And the camera is rotating because it's trying to reach camera-angle-x, but glxMatrices() - which is what is used to calculate camera position - is failing, so it never thinks it's reaching the correct angle.

I'll be home around 2:45PM EST to try it out.

I've just set everything back up and attempted to run the script - same problem. I'll recheck my GLX folder just for the sake of it I suppose.

If you use witeLN(glGetModels()); or anything, does it return an empty array? O_o

Sorry to be a hassle, but how might I use it to check? :| I don't know too much about scripting tbh, and won't be able to start delving into it for another two weeks.

I took a look at the ogl tutorial to figure it out. I can't get the models to appear on my screen and I'm definitely on openGL and 100% 3D world.

So confused :(

It's likely just a quick fix, are you able to team view?

Yeah, I can teamview if you are willing to help out. :)

I'll PM you my info and we can go from there, whenever you have time.

Thanks!

EDIT: Thanks a TON! I kind of understood 1/4 of what you did, the rest was so quick I didn't really understand lol.

Now I need to investigate and see how I can stop right clicking and examining the fertilised patches :p
