I would just like to share something I've found after villavu's "reset?" or were we "attacked?"
I browsed my e-mails(which I never do) earlier and came across a Runescape e-mail showing this:

So I clicked on the 'More Info' tab and was linked to this:
Apparently, according to this post in the Chrome blog, Chrome have already phased out Netscape Plug-in API (NPAPI) since 2014, but whitelisted some plugins that are being used by more than 5% of the users:
1. Silverlight (launched by 15% of Chrome users last month)
2. Unity (9.1%)
3. Google Earth (9.1%)
4. Java (8.9%) *
5. Google Talk (8.7%)
6. Facebook Video (6.0%)
And so now, they've already removed the Java-plugin on Chrome, as per what the Runescape alert said so.
And there's also this statement that I saw on the blog. "Mozilla plans to make all plug-ins except the current version of Flash click-to-play by default." This actually doesn't only affect RS but also other websites such as some online-banking sites etc.
(FF's next..Is this a stalemate for those guys who play in their browsers?)
On a side note:
Could this be why Runescape's developing the NXT Client?(Probably not)
Anyway, thank you for reading!
Have a good one.:norris:
