Anyone here know anything about Rod Cousens? Good/Bad? What does this mean for RS?

I was reading the reddit thread, and apparently the consensus is bad. He's all about "paying to unlock" and that kind of stuff, but I could be wrong as I haven't done solo research. Yay for more solomon.

What the hell … I haven't even heard of this? Apparently, Mr. Cousens is pushing it as Jagex's next big project: https://www.rschronicle.com/

It looks like a Hearthstone ripoff. What's most shocking is that the website has blog entries dating back to February, and the gameplay video was uploaded in October … yet I haven't seen hide nor hair of this game until now.

One would think that Jagex had learned their lesson, what with the failures that were TFU and MechScape. But no, they're branching out again, though they've proven quite definitively that that can't handle anything other than (barely) RuneScape.
