Greetings!
Recently (about 2-3 weeks ago) I started learning simba scripting. Decided to make a trading bot which I need help with.
I use INI files to store item names, quantities, buy and sell prices, and everything is working fine, but I'm curious about if there is a better way storing variables which must be called back after script restart.
Waiting for your answers.

You could try to set up a website with your prices and set it up to contact the server with all of your prices. Maintaining the prices shouldn't be too hard. However, I have absolutely no idea how to start it, but I guess it would be the opposite of how stat tracking works. You should probably wait until someone smarter answers this thread though.
IMO just store it in a file and if it's some online stuff that needs to be updated then grab the information from the webpage and update the file. That way, you don't have to rely on a website for your script to work, and if your are constantly getting information from the file during runtime that would be much faster than reading it from a website

For my script (see signature) as well as another work-in-progress I use INI files to store all the trade information so that the script can pick up where it left off if I stop and start it. If there is a better way, I'd love to hear it. I think this is the simplest and most reliable though.

Thank you everyone who replied to this. I stick to INI files then as it seems the most reliable method.
