Has anyone tried Runemate? I just started using on a old account that i don't use anymore to see how it works. Any thoughts?

They use reflection instead of injection so I'm inclined to try it out.
Still lurking around to see how bans are though.

In addition to earlier faults I mentioned, rumour has it @Taric;) that they have switched to 64-bit Java requirement. This will conflict with Simba's 32-bit requirement I think, but I'm no expert.

Confirmed. Can't run unless you have 64bit

I'm working on that… I'll see if I can persuade them to not force 64bit on us :p

Just wondering why would it be detrimental if they continue to use this 64bit?

I have no understanding of what actually happens, but I think Simba dislikes 64bit Java and would be unhappy if you tried installing that on your computer, where Runemate is going to force 64bit and hence will be unhappy if you have 32bit. I don't know if they can coexist, but I know installing 64bit on my computer a couple months ago blew Simba up even though 32bit wasn't uninstalled, so maybe I sucked at it but in my experience 64bit java = broken simba.
So it will not be detrimental to Runemate - they claim it will be more stable to force 64 bit on any 64 bit machines. It will only suck for those people who wish to not blow up Simba and still use Runemate.

Sounds like you need to learn how to manipulate your environment variables.

Should look something like this… Right?
Mind helping a computer noob out with his environment variable problems? :p
java version "1.8.0_20"
Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (build 1.8.0_20-b26)
Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM (build 25.20-b23, mixed mode)
else it will say something like:
Error: This Java instance does not support a 64-bit JVM.
Please install the desired version.

But what about scrubs like me who run 32-bit machines?
There's no way to install 64-bit Java on a 32-bit machine, is there?

I *think* what they've done is "force 64-bit Java on 64-bit machines" or something like that.

Such scrub. If you aren't part of the 64-bit master rayce, YOU DON'T DESERVE TO USE RUNEMATE. :p
