Hi guys,
I was thinking, if I redeem my bond for membership now (8:27pm) would I lose potential members time or would I be better redeeming at 00:01 am tomorrow.
Thoughts?
I think it's done by the minute/second so it should not matter what time you redeem it, in the end it will all even out +- like a second lol.
No, there's no difference. When you activate it, you get 14 days of membership.
So if you activate it now at 8:27 PM, your membership will expire in 14 days at 8:27 PM.

I'm pretty sure my membership expired at 11:59PM EST when I redeemed the bond at something like 12:00PM (noon) MDT. Was I just seeing things maybe?

Membership runs for 14 days, down to the minute. If your bond was redeemed at 12:36, your membership will expire at 12:36 in 14 days.
As a side note, it will not log you out at exactly 12:36 when your bond expires either. I've seen my toons run more than an hour past their expiration time because they were logged in at the moment it expired. So long as you don't log out after 12:36 (or whatever time), you can steal an extra hour or so with each bond. This comes in really handy for ditching those members-only supplies if you're not gonna renew right away.

Like Gunner said, your bond expires at the exact time it was redeemed, 14 days later. It's the same way in which bank pins work, both for deleting/setting them up. If you cancel your 3-day pin at 12:30 PM it will be removed 3 days later at 12:30 PM.
