Simba and Wine - SMART plugins fail to load

elementary OS 0.2.1 "Luna" (32-bit) built on Ubuntu 12.04 "Precise"

Running Wine version 1.4, I've installed Simba 1.0.1 and performed the required setup, but attempting to load SMART always results in a lack of loaded plugins.

I have installed Oracle Java 7 JRE (32-bit) on Wine, as well as OpenJDK 7 and Oracle Java 8 outside of Wine.

Attempting to load SMART results in this. Enabling SMART causes the game to flicker.

Both OpenGL and DirectX mode are clearly available, but the plugins are not being loaded and are thus unusable. Simba's debug box reports that plugins are being loaded every time SMART is spawned.

What am I doing wrong?

I haven't tested OSRS.
@Wizzup?; know anything about this? What is the status of the native Linux builds for Simba?

If i remember correctly, I had the same problems a year ago with rs3. In order to fix the problem I had to run simba, then change back and forth directx and opengl on the settings page and it fixed it.

I don't know where the other thread is, but I remember writing precise instructions on getting SMART to run in Wine and Natively.

For some reason I cannot seem to find the threads.

There we go.

I think Simba builds on Linux, but currently not in the autobuilder. I don't know how stable it is. Pascalscript was always troublesome, especially on 64 bit. Perhaps now with Lape it is much better.
