Yey… I think this is finally supports all old features + new. So please test :)

Auto-complete:
  • New form, This one is faster and far more fancy and performs the same in Linux & Windows.
  • New feature: If you mouse over an item it will display the whole line(if needed)
  • Displays overloads
  • Works with all "tree's" of type related things
  • Fancy highlighting for locals

Code hints:
  • Shows overloads
  • Works with all "tree's" of type related things

Extra notes:

  • This Simba does not have pascal script, so there is no extensions.
  • This whole projected was started by trying to speed the old one up, so everything should be a ton faster. And if you edit a include and save it you will notice everything will update accordingly.
  • You can control click on type methods/fields to find their declaration.

Try it and find out. I have no idea since the old one never once crashed for me.

Yey…
Niiice work!

I like it that overloads are now displayed in code hints, that's a huge plus. :p

All I want is a Simba that doesn't crash on codehints! PS The old version crashed only when it was multiple tabs open I think, so maybe that's why it didn't crash for you.

Will download and test this weekend when I binge script for 10 hours.

Did you mean to distribute it as a debug build?

If not, run the following commands on your executables so we don't have to download 45mb (a debug build):

cd /usr/bin
sudo strip -s "~/Desktop/Simba"

For windows run

cd C:/mingw/bin
strip -s "C:/Users/.../Desktop/Simba.exe"

Or distribute a release build?

ah That's my bad… I made elfyyy a debug build with range checking since his crashed for him. And i forgot dropbox overwrites the file and keeps the same link. It was previously a release build! Anyway il fix it in a bit.

Wow it looks so promising! If I crash Simba on hints 10 times more today, I will download whole 50 MB. :p

Overloads are awesome

Haha, it hasn't crashed since I grabbed the debug build, but I also haven't used it much since I finished up the script I was working on

It is honestly a night and day difference how much better this build is in terms of not crashing.. I scripted for like 10 hours with it and it only crashed one time!

SRL-6 is now compatible with this build if anyone wants to run their scripts.

FYI, debugging symbols might be useful if you want people to test it and provide proper stacktraces. :)

Looking forward to reviewing and merging this. ;)
