I have a picture of a mouse icon, I want to detect when my machines mouse turns to this specific icon

so nobody is confused, these are mouse icons:

How do I detect a certain one, of which my picture is…?

so:
if mouseicon == 'mypictureicon'
writeln('good');
else
writeln('bad');

something like that..

anyone know how? I know it's possible, I've done it in the past & seen it done. I have absolutely no idea how to do it now

Make DTMs of them all (since the black outline color is pretty uniform) and run a case statement, searching in a box that has the current mouse position as a midpoint?

Assuming Simba can see the mouse of course, not sure if it can

He has some nice win-api in a plugin that returns a bitmap of the current cursor, too lazy to find it though :p

this is all I've seen about it

I KNOW this is possible, I've done it before. I have no idea how.
the script where I did it is long gone.. I now need to recreate

this is in a game.. and I'd like to "double check" my mouseover is correct, as the mouse icon itself changes when moused over the location I'm "looking for"

I do not understand it, in fact my "knowledge" of coding in pascal atm is in a stage of re-learning how to even do basic procedures that writeln('hi') lol…

Yea I detected the mouse changing to this certain icon as my "100% we are moused over that object" in like 2012 or so though so idk wtf I used

Yeah. The only way I know of is to capture the mouse as shown on that thread. I can't think of any other way unless Lape allows system calls. Pascal-Script used to allow it so maybe that's how it was done previously..

Btw OP, GetProcessInfo and GetProcessModuleInfo from that plugin is how you get the base address of a module and/or process for what we discussed earlier.

This one is just using color since it requires no movement

memory reading is for the movement mostly since it's too hard for me to move around correctly since I'm retarded & maybe cuz the games 3D

found some ghetto way around not worrying about the mouse
thanks :P
