Step one: go
HereStep Two: Change "path" : "C:\ProgramData\Oracle\Java\javapath" to "C:\Program Files (x86)\Java\jre1.8.0_25\bin" or whichever path you have to your java.exe
step three: Reinstall simba because you'll get some weird errors (or atleast i did with AeroLib).

Hey, just thought I'd throw in, are you sure you have java 32 bit installed and not just 64 bit? I could not get Simba to work personally until I installed java 32 bit, which solved this problem for me.
A simple way to tell which one you have installed would be to check 'C:\Program Files\Java' and 'C:\Program Files (x86)\Java'. If java is installed to Program Files it is 64 bit if it is installed in Program Files (x86) it is 32 bit. (This is assuming you did not change regular pre-set install location for java). Anyways, if that doesn't work making sure environment variable path is set correctly should solve it.

a little bit off topic, but is this step still needed? I remember having to do that to compile anything in Java on windows xp, but not my windows 7/8 computers

it surprised me it was still needed. I hadnt encountered this error until i ran Aerolib. I've always used smart with no problem, but when i ran aerolib i would get this problem. I think there is something that corrupts the shortcuts to java and thus, they stop working. I looked for the shortcuts on the original "C:\ProgramData\Oracle\Java\javapath" and they were all 1KB and led to nowhere, so i dont know what really happens, but this is the easy fix
