As the title says, are there any viable tank builds besides the range tank? Every time I search for a tank build, the only ones I come across is this range build, starting to become frustrating.

Thats because you can only choose for mage/range tank.

a "melee tank" is called a main
a "mage tank" is thus the only alternative and usually isn't viable (as you gain nothing from having not trained range and are thus at a huge disadvantage from any range tanks that have your mage level)

As the others have said, your only options are range/mage tanks. Otherwise a melee with defense is just a main. However if they decide to release the summoning skill into OSRS that option becomes viable.
