Should I get used to using KYAB to walk?

Well, I don't know what everybody thinks of KYAB. Is it reliable? Do you think it will keep working forever? Should I just stop using radial walk?

I just don't know what to do.. Get used to using KYAB, or use radial walk still.

Anybody got opinions about it?

if they get object finding implemented in kyab, ill switch =)
as of right now, im not even making a script, so idk

if they make the find object they should not release it to members because it would be abused extremely. I do not think they should even release it if it find objects…

This will turn to be an aryan… and destroy everything.

think about it XD.

I like it that it solves walking only, it should stay that way =)

Walking is the hardest because of the stupid mini map angle changing from the compass direction thing.

So I'm going to learn it I guess and see how it works :)

Well, I don't think it will die anytime soon, and it's so simple to use, as long as they fix the crashing, I'm planning to switch over to it

I don't think it would be wise to go with a major release that includes object finding

Maybe a dev release or something, but nothing as big as a members release.

Currently, I'm still using the "old school" mapwalking style. When KYAB completely stabilizes and everything I'll use it. (I heard there were a few bugs still). PLUS I already finished making my effing script's MWing! x{

i think this KYAB represents the dumbing down around here,

we all used to spend ages perfecting our RRW, we've made complex methods of finding a new roadcolor, this makes us skilled and knowledgable.

with this utility, non of that is needed anymore, we only need to walk somewhere, write down a few numbers, and thats it, walking sorted. no more of that knowledge-growing activity.
even WT-Fakawi, who iv seen as very good at creating walking procedure, has now embraced this.

this would be fine if we all had another activity to replace walking, but i bet non of you have any plans to learn how KYAB works, (especially since its closed source, and doesnt decompile very well)

i can only really hope that us writing random-solving, mining, treecutting and some other programming can keep our skill-level up.

look at what happened with aryan, most people didnt care how or why it worked, but there were some who did learn from it, and the original developers.

nothing against BenLand100 or Solarwind, but i think this is not good for us, not good at all. :(

I agree 100% with you. I mean, what's the fun of making a script if everybody else could do it to. I mean, there's no way to show a lot of talent in your work, because the hardest part of scripting is to perfect walking.

If we eliminate the challenge of scripting, then scripting really isn't that fun anymore.. Is it?

We are a long way from doing every quest, all levels 99, and solving all randoms.

I agree that KEBAB isn't good for us, but if we make anything other than KEBAB scripts with perfect walking, people will complain.

We don't have much of a choice…

Why would people complain if a non KYAB script had perfect walking and worked good?

Unless you use KEBAB, it's pretty well impossible to make perfect walking
