SRL Archive - OSR Help

Specifically I'm trying to figure out what font is the absorption characters in Nightmare Zone (probably bigChars). But a more general question–is there any way to figure out what a font might be, other than squinting at the fonts in your folder and trying to guess whether it's one of the closer fonts? I know they are named specifically but sometimes, for example, smallchars07 is found in the hover-over text of the stat menu. Not quite intuitive.

There are no references or specific documentation telling you where each font is used, or which should be used where. Usually it's trial and error or just looking through the include.

Just write a function to test each font OR use tesseract.

Just shows the stage @ each filter for uptext.
