Hey guys, I just thought of this concept for a SCAR script for the Neopets Stock Market game. I'm too damn rusty with SCAR and too damn lazy to brush up again after so many years so maybe one of ya'll can pick up on it if you think you can do it ;)

Basicly what I thought of was that what the script does is basicly reloads the stock portfolio page once every one or two minutes and checks the amount the stocks have gone up. If the amount is the preset amount it will automatically sell that stock and go back to watching the stock market for you. All the user has to do is ensure that he has a good amount of stocks in his portfolio.

I'm not sure of the limitation of the current version of SCAR but if this is too far fetched like it was a few years ago when I used SCAR then perhaps someone could pick up on it with Visual Basic or something else that offers more flexibility. Tell me how it goes if your attempting to do this. I'm curious. (h)

nice idea but because of the nature of the game (only able to buy 1k stocks per day) unless you are buying very high priced stocks (very risky) it would be better to wait on the stocks until they gain a lot
the neopian stockmarket is one of patience

Ah yes actually my intent for this was for high risk stocks that rise and fall rapidly.

If the script kept a constant check on the prices it could automatically sell off the stocks when they reached a desired value and help earn a decent profit without the player having to pay much attention to the stock market at all apart from when buying the stocks. :)

big problem with this idea is that the stock prices only refresh every 30 minutes. so there is no chance of having a good prediction of stocks unless its running for hours as well did you ever think the stock changes might be random.

if any1 has some neopet scripts could i have some plz? message me? ty

I doubt anyone does and if they do that is still works.
