Seems like a good distribution method would be public version - fishes and drops. Jr+ version - fishes and banks.

Im wondering if I could take a current LRC script (miner, perhaps?) and salvage some of the code to get a foundation for a rocktail/cavefish script?

Depends on how complex you want the script to be, do you plan on having it hop worlds, or explore all the spots in the dungeon on the LRC unofficial world?

It would have to run in just the official world to blend in with the other 100+ people that go there. also that would be a safety in of itself since people are always killing the giants down there anyways.

But, since cavefish/rocktail spawns go on and off, it would have to find those certain pixels, and choose the right text.

edit: I would probably have to keep it on the south side of the spawns to keep it away from getting aggroo… I wonder if that's possible?

I'd say it would be possible, but harder for a beginner. I thought the mouse over text was different than the cavefish so that shouldn't be a problem. Depending on the complexity of the LRC miner you chose would depend on the amount you could salvage. Mainly the map and depositing method, must of the anitban too.

Yeah, I really do not have much knowledge of SRL. Id have to do a ton of reading, plus I'd need to know what to actually salvage from the LRC script I choose. Aside from working full time, its tough. heh.

You sound too busy to actually try and make this on your own, and I'm not sure if anyone will take this request due it be a decent gp maker. May I recommend this fisher to level up if this doesn't get accepted: It's a barbarian fisher.

It's something I could slowly do, but who knows if I'd end up finishing it.

Why wouldnt people work on it since its a top GP maker? is it more to keep it to themselves to make profit im guessing?

I guarantee there is some made, all private, due to the nature of the idea it is doable. I just would imagine that this would have already been done by now if someone had planned on doing it, and releasing it. It's not a top GP maker btw, it think it's 300k/hr.

I would guess another reason is that it has a high level requirement and maybe people don't want to risk their accounts? Bans aren't really a problem here though, maybe someone with a script will notice this and make one/release it. I've considered this due to me just achieving 90 fishing on my main but I haven't decided due to the barbarian fisher. More work, but some gp. If I make it I'll pm u the script but it will remain private.

Its not really worth it , just like troll cank said. If you want xp go for leaping trout/salmon/sturgeon.
If you want cash, find other better scripts or go legit bossing.

I really need this I might make it my self :D Will keep you posted!

On topic, I was thinking of maybe trying this some day; however, the relatively low profit from it is sort of discouraging :c 150fish/hr is kind of really really bad (around 300k gp/hr). You could get more money doing almost anything productive in members without even trying.

Go for it! The thing is that it really stacks up after a while. It takes so darn long to get 90-99 that you actually make some gp, my friend got 99 fishing at rocktails. I think he made 15mil+ and sold them at ge price.(which was like 2200 at the time, if i recall)

I have an old one called AlsLRCFisher, its SRL5 so it would have to be reworked but i remember it working great last year. Lemme know if you want to use it!

I have a 99 fishing acc if you need it to reworked it?

I had one working for awhile last week in SRL6, the vortex's from the fishing extractors make it really hard to be accurate in finding fishing spots since they only appear sometimes. The script would keep looking for new spots and not wait after finding a spot. I used AlsLRCFisher and just switched some code to work with SRL6.

im workin on other projects right now. Use ALS LRC Fisher and fix it for SRL6. Doesn't take more then adding a few sets and removing some gets.
