SRL Archive - Banned from RS

My 7 year old account got perm banned after using ineedbot's AIO Fisher. That script is the only script I used. Always babysat, and didn't run the script for more than 4 hours (Also total play time). I only used the script for 4 days. The Account had a previous ban for Macroing. I only fished when I got on it.

No worries man, I'll bot on! One question though. I've had the same IP address for years now. I've had multiple accounts banned for botting. Should I call up my ISP tomorrow and force a change?

I doubt it'll make a difference (you were most likely reported and thus investigated) but there's not much harm in doing so. So, yes, but don't get your hopes up in it making a big difference ^_^

ip doesnt make any difference, iv lost way more than 50 drag bots and still my other not so risky activities scripts like red eggs, papayas collectors, rune miners seems to be very healthy, and havent spotted increased ban rates. If you get banned so fast you either unlucky or there was a flaw in the script. Like fixed wait time somewhere, i noticed one flaw makes no difference but 2 flaws like quaranteed ban in very high risk places like drags. Maybe next time try changing/updating antiban and adding it in other places of the script too. Like i always make atleast 2-3 places i use different antibans.

I was curious if babysitting and botting for a limited amount of hours a day (like 4 hours for example) would decrease the chances of being banned but it doesn't seem to make a difference. I'm not sure if money making skills like fishing vs a script like a plank cutting script have an effect on how quickly you'll get banned.

He prolly just got unlucky. I got one of my test accounts i use like 6th month, got reported multiple times. At some points when p mods caught me i even admitted i am botting cause thought i am like banned already. But he is still alive. I think the key of surviving is deviation of times everywhere i mean constant script update keeps you unnoticable, since jagex uses statistical tools to caught you. And every little change changes your behaviour and statistics becomes patterned the other way. Also changing activities or just messing around or standing 10mins doing nothing(while fixing code)is the things keeping very hard to ban. I doubt if you could get banned not manually botting like up to 4 hours a day with mediocre script changing activities and playing abit legit nowadays. Jagex isnt so much advanced.Heavily botted activities has noticeably increased chances of getting caught. To compare like botting grinding chocolate duts vs dragons like 10% per months vs 100% per month. Also on dragon bots which has highest ban rate noticed that 4-6 hours is kind of safe amount of time if you dont get stuck or there isnt flaw in script. While anything above 6 is very likely not to survive first 2 weeks, sometimes even a day, i had high amount of bots banned at around 1k drags killed if they did it per 24hours. So babysitting. especially not letting people report you may be very advantagious. Since probably he got checked manually after few reports.
